Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025. This policy explains how TooClean SL collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Spanish LOPDGDD.

1. Who we are

TooClean SL is the data controller for personal data collected through this platform. You can contact us at legal@toocleanapp.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect your name, email address, phone number, home address (shared with cleaners only after a booking is confirmed), device information, and location data during active jobs only. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored by TooClean.

3. Why we collect it

Your data is used to operate the platform, match you with cleaners, process payments, send service notifications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

4. Legal basis

We process your data under contractual necessity (to provide the service), legitimate interests (platform security and fraud prevention), and your consent (marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time).

5. Data sharing

We share data with Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Google Maps (location services), and OneSignal (push notifications). All processors are bound by data processing agreements compliant with GDPR Article 28. International transfers to US-based servers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. You may also object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email legal@toocleanapp.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the AEPD (aepd.es).

7. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active, plus a 3-year period for legal compliance. Transaction records are kept for 6 years as required by Spanish tax law.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the platform to function. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. You may manage cookies through your browser settings.

Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2025. By using TooClean, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Governing law is Spanish law; disputes are subject to the courts of Barcelona.

1. What TooClean is

TooClean is an online marketplace that connects clients seeking cleaning services with independent cleaning professionals. TooClean is not a cleaning company. We are a technology platform and do not employ the cleaners listed on our platform.

2. Using the platform

You must be at least 18 years old to use TooClean. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account, and all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Bookings and payments

All bookings are confirmed only when a cleaner accepts your request. Prices displayed are final and inclusive of all fees. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. TooClean collects a service commission from each transaction.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled start time are fully refunded. Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a partial fee. If a cleaner fails to show up, you will receive a full refund and priority rebooking.

5. Cleaner independence

Cleaners on TooClean are independent professionals, not employees or agents of TooClean. They set their own prices and schedules. TooClean is not liable for the quality of services provided, though we maintain a guarantee programme — contact support within 24 hours of a completed booking if you are unsatisfied.

6. Prohibited conduct

Users may not attempt to transact outside the platform, harass or abuse cleaners or other users, submit false reviews, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

7. Limitation of liability

TooClean's liability is limited to the value of the booking in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
